Hand painted clothing makes an old favorite NEW again

What do you do when one of your favorite shirts gets accidently bleached or stained? Do you throw it away OR try to save it? This shirt was a navy colored shirt with a great texture and I couldn't bear losing it. So, with a spray bottle filled with a 50/50 water bleach mix - I gave it an interesting pattern to hide the accidental bleach stain, Once dry, I applied some Golden transparent colors in various washes and intensity. VOILA! A really cool look and an all new fashion to wear. It was bound to happen - any artist will tell you that paint ends up on their clothes - why not embrace it and make it haute art coulture?

Thanks, Teri! It was a lot of fun to do - breaking a break from the canvas painting and any artist has a item or two that already has paint on it - so I say - do it up and do it up right! Cheers!
